Our first meeting
Introduction & understanding your requirements
Contact us via phone, email or our website. You are then assigned a dedicated account manager who will be your contact throughout the entire process, providing continuity.
Your disposal requirements are discussed and reviewed. We then generate a unique disposal plan that meets all of your needs.
Coordinating the logistics
Confirming your collection
Your account manager will be in contact to arrange a collection date that suits you.
Your collection confirmation will be available on your online portal account as well as emailed to you.
We ensure all of your old equipment gets collected as soon as possible, thereby safeguarding your data.
Retrieving your e-waste
Your Collection
Your National IT Disposal collection vehicle will arrive on the agreed date and time. All of our staff are DBS enhanced checked as well as our fleet of vehicles being GPS tracked and operating CCTV, consolidating the security of your data.
Your collection operative(s) will professionally remove all agreed items from your site and load them into the vehicle independently, ensuring no disruption to your activities. When loaded, you will be given a waste transfer notice to ensure compliance.
If you have requested on-site physical media destruction, our team will destroy the data-bearing media on your premises and then take away the shredded waste for recycling.
All of your collected items will be returned to National IT Disposal on the same day to guarantee the security of your data.
Secure, sustainable e-waste treatment
Equipment processing, data erasure and treatment
Your collection is allocated to a dedicated engineer. We start working on the job within 24 hours of it being returned to National IT Disposal.
The equipment is separated into data holding and non-data holding respectively. From here, all equipment is catalogued in preparation for your asset report. Your asset report lists each item collected and includes: Brand, model, serial number, specification and a unique National IT Disposal asset number.
Based on your requirements, data-bearing media is either erased using government-approved software or shredded down to 6mm particles, ensuring all stored data is permanently and irreversibly eliminated. An itemised certificate of data destruction for all data-bearing media is then generated for your records.
Equipment that is not fit for remarketing is fully decommissioned into raw materials. With our 0% landfill policy all recovered material is completely recycled, ready to be used to manufacture new products.
Financial rebates for your e-waste
Revenue Generation
National IT Disposal wants to help your business flourish; that’s why we provide a completely transparent rebate structure. As opposed to passing a percentage back for qualifying items, we give you a fixed monetary value for each qualifying item as it is fairer and unambiguous. This allows you to see exactly how much revenue you will be generating so you can financially plan.
After processing your e-waste, your itemised report will contain rebate values against all qualifying items. You can quickly see how much revenue has been generated. Your positive return payment will then be paid by secure same-day transfer, so you have immediate access to your funds.
Reports and certificates of data destruction
Reporting
After your e-waste has been treated, you are provided with your itemised final inventory report and data destruction certificates.
All certification is uploaded to your secure, encrypted client portal account and you are automatically notified that your documentation is ready.
You can download your certified documents and keep them as proof that you have taken every necessary step to responsibly recycle your e-waste and fully comply with privacy and data legislation.
Your National IT Disposal provided documentation ensures that related third party inspections or audits on your organisation proceed with ease.
